Parrish Creek Trail  Sucess!

Wanted to grab this one along with Centerville Peak but ran out of gas on the Centerville attempt. So came back and got Bountiful Peak. It was laborious walking on the very slanted lingering snow on the Skyline Drive road but it was the best of poor options.

Long slog  Sucess!

RT distance was 15.68 miles from Parrish Trail head. Fantastic weather, beautiful views. Long slog on skyline drive - about 3 miles each way. Orange metal box thing on top of the peak. I was surprised how far away the Farmington Towers were. I thought they'd be much closer. I also can't understand whey Bountiful Peak is north of Centerville. Shouldn't it be Centerville Peak?

Up I go

10/10/11 Via car. This really doesn't count for a reall summit in my book, but I wanted to record my visit to the summit.

Drive / Climb  Sucess!

Hit this peak with my sister and brother-in-law after the first couple storms of the year. I won't claim too much on this one since we drove most of the distance up Farmington Canyon - but we did climb up to the peak. It was a cool view! I still want to climb the distance up to Francis Peak next year - via Bear Canyon.

Many Routes  Sucess!

Davis Creek - May 24, 2008 - Good steep hike during spring when everything is green and the waterfalls were flowing.

Parrish Creek - January 6, 2007 - This is a good winter climb in the Northern Wasatch. Bountiful Peak has great views of the surrounding valley and mountains.

Northeast Ridge - June 25, 2006 - Fun climb in spring when the road is covered in snow. I usually start hiking from the campground. Driving up Farmington Canyon is always interesting.
