Brandywine Mountain Summit
One of the best views I have ever had from a summit. Road to lower parking lot was not fully accessible to my 2WD car. Had to park off side at about 1KM. Trail from the lower parking lot not as bad as I expected but it is easy in places to lose it. I ended up just hiking straight up. Road to upper parking lot which saves about 600 meters of elevation gain was not fully passable to anything but a very high clearance 4WD. The Nissan Pathfinder that attempted the upper parking lot had to stop about 2KM before the parking lot. Not many cairns on the upper mountain and what was there marked different routes. Trails peter out.
Did this the day before Wedge and Parkhurst. Lovely area.

Truly one of the highlights of my climbing career
This peak has it all. Lush, flowery meadows, rock, snow, glaciers, and unbeatable scenery. Be sure to drive to the upper trailhead. That will make all the difference between an enjoyable outing and an exhausting epic.
