Many ascents
Many ascents over the years since early 1970's - either on it's own to access the Glyders, or as part of Bocchlwyd Horseshoe. 3rd favourite Welsh scramble after Tryfan N Ridge and Crib Goch.

Sinister Gully
The gully was great fun, although there's a lot of loose stuff inside so be careful you don't shower your buddies with it. Somehow missed the pinnacles :(

Questionable route finding
Some very wet and snowy fun scrambling. We diverged to the right of the route but still ended up on the pinnacles (however these were a no-no in the current conditions)
....Before in knew it was called SINISTER GULLY..!
Still it was a fantastic scramble (/climb in places)and the views were just superb.

Crikey
Wow, what a route! My first proper scramble so was a little nervous up 'Sinister Gully' and on some narrow ledges up above, but there were stunning views and overall it was a great day out.
Bristly Ridge always a joy especially when combined with a scramble up Tryfan. Can get very busy and the lower aspects can be very slippery when wet. Nanuls a very informative post!
