Broken Top Crater

Below the crater of Broken Top is an area that was not included in the Three Sisters Wilderness. In the excluded area, Tumalo Irrigation District diverts a portion of the water from Crater Creek and several other creeks and sends the water through Crater Creeek Ditch to Tumalo Creek where some of it ends up as irrigation water.
