Crossed over to make camp below Black
Scrambled up from our Black Mountain camp to watch the sun go down and the 'supermoon' come up.
This was my consolation prize after deciding to bail on Black Mountain. Class 4 rock and very steep heather on Black Mountain didn't seem safe to do solo on top of what I had to do to get back. This was a neat little summit with only two entries in its register which was placed in 1987. Not much for prominence but a great objective. I will try Black from Painted next time with snow.
