Third time is a charm  Sucess!

I tried to climb this route three different times over three years and finally succeeded the third time. The first two times were winter attempts (the end of December and beginning of January). Everything in the scree chute was covered in verglas and snow and we didn't have proper gear (ice axe and crampons really are necessary). The second attempt my buddy fell down a little cliff and sprained his leg. We read in the news that during that same week somebody had fallen further and died on this route. So yeah, not recommended in the winter unless you want to get really technical and have the proper gear.

A fun day  Sucess!

A fun hike with my dad. The rock was a little bit loose but we had no problems.

Browns Peak  Sucess!

We climbed this by way of Browns trail. The Scree chute was a challenge made more fun with some snow. My 10 year old and I enjoyed the summit about 11:30 am and the view was spectacular!
