Fairy Pool to Bruach na Frithe
Walked Fairy Pool towards the end and cut over to Bruach na Frithe.
On the way out, went directly to the parking lot.
Need GPS map. Track not clear in the lower elevations.
Track is obvious on the higher rocky area.
Minor scrambling required.
On the summit, there're different tracks going all directions.
Another reason to have a GPS map with you, so you don't end up on the wrong ridge.
I didn't meet anyone once I left Fairy Pool, all the wall till summit.
Yet another reason to have a map with you.
View: excellent if it's clear. Morning very cloudy. I was on Skye for 4 days, same weather pattern every day.
I had to wait on the summit for over half an hour to see a bit of the ocean through the clouds.
Met folks from a different direction on the summit.
It was past noon. Sorry, I lost all my photos there, so not sure of the exact time.
Saw 2 deer on my way up.
Quite a lot of midge almost all the way into the rocks. I sat down to eat my sandwich at one point, but after 2 bites, I gave up my lunch. Ate the rest on the summit.
Done on a trip doing most of the ridge in May. Awesome

Cloudy, then sun.
Set out in cloud but cheered up a bit later on, with Jo.

Fantastic
An absolutely fantastic day. We took the corrie route up. Walkers were coming down and complaining about the fog, the skies totally opened up for us at the top. My handbook rated it as a 4 out of 5 in seriousness but should a 3. The corrie traverse is definitely the way to go on the next visit.

Happy Returns
Our second visit to Bruach na Frithe in May '93 was on our first complete traverse of the ridge. We'd been there in May '92 but that was when we did the ridge in 2 halves. (Colin, Ken & Johnnie)
