Buck Lake

Buck Lake

As we left early on the 20th for the summit of Big Baldy, Buck Lake reminded us that we would be happy to return to the special beauty that it created. 7-20-09

Re: Awesome Pic

Thanks Mike. Yes, hiking is one thing but a sufferfest is another. Buck Lake was a beautiful spot but everything else was burned
down.

Very cool!

I like the feel of this picture, but I bet the hike was far more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with us!

Re: Very cool!

Thanks Kris. I had a chance to spend a day in the Sawtooth afterward when Dennis and I dayhiked Snowyside Peak. That is an absolutely stunning area and the view from the top of Snowyside is one of the finest I've ever experienced.

Nice shot

Especially with the mirror lake. By the way, I saw your earlier comment on Sequoias - I am propagating Giant Sequoias here in Somerset England. The first is at top of the garden. 30ft in 13yrs
