I took a couple of friends to Bull Run Peak (8024') which is 2 miles round trip with an elevation gain of approximately 500 feet. We did the cross-country uphill hike and located the trail that hugs the ridgeline through the trees and bushes. The trail continues onward in both directions, and an old map we had suggested that the trail may lead to Sugarloaf.
