crazy weather
Myself, Dan, and Alex decided to climb the peak despite the 80% chance of snow and possible thunder storms. We got hit by 4 pretty good snow storms, but none lasting more than 30 mins. In between each storm we had beautiful sunny weather. made it to the summit in 4 hours following the east ridge and then took the west ridge down. Great snowshoe trip in beautiful country, especially in the winter.

good snowshoe
The crusted over snow might not be good for skiing but great for snowshoeing. Pretty impressive cornices along the ridge. Some folks have been skiing the chutes on the north face- wow! No evidence of recent avalanche activity.

Great Snowshoe Outing
Snowshoe’d up the east ridge with Splattski and John R. Had to contend with knee-deep powder down low, but the upper section was a lot of fun. Nice views and an excellent weather day. Trip Report
