Via the Bystra valley
A wonderful Tatra hike: hardly any people, beautiful valley, young eagle over my head, chamois letting me come as close as 5m, marmots whistling, bear droppings on my way back down the Račkova valley, fireweed ablaze – all inclusive ;-)
October 5, 2013
Solo trip from Choholowska Valley to Siwa Pass and further on to Blyszcz and Bystra. Descended along Ornak Ridge.

From Gaborove Sedlo
From Chocholowska Valley, along the ridge to Ornak, Siwa Pass and Gaborove Sedlo. From there, directly to Blyszcz and, further on - to Bystra. We went back along the same route.
Beautiful trip, excellent weather. The last summer weekend that year.
Very long route through the damaged forest, which was a big obstruction. See my route description.

Rainy...
Climbed from Kamenistá dolina through Pysné sedlo (1791m) -beautiful view on Poland- and Blyst (2154m). Went back on the same way. It was very windy, foggy and rainy day. Very few person on the mountain. Solo climb from Pysné sedlo.
Route Climbed: Ridge route from Siwy Zwornik through Blyszcz(from Polish side) Date Climbed: 15th January 2006
Absolutely wonderful winter escapade in great snow conditions and gorgeous sunshine...we reached the summit quite late at 14.45 pm but believe me...the views were worth every sacrifice...simply kissing the heaven's gate !
Descent by the unbelievable moonlight(full moon), wonderful impression of surrounding peaks silverly enlighted...
15 hour action...extreme tiredness and satisfaction !
Route Climbed: From Polish side via Raczkowa Pass Date Climbed: 13th August 1999
Ascent through valleys Chocholowska and Starorobocianska to Siwa Pass in Ornak ridge and further through Raczkowa Pass , border Baniste ridge and traversing to the summit .
A bit foggy weather conditions but still great impressions . Some nerves connected with illegal crossing the borderline , for the first time in Tatras ...
In the descent by the summit ridge ,after reaching border point of Blyszcz ,total disorientation in milky fog and landing on the Pysne Sedlo Pass on the opposite side of the mountain ...going back up to Blyszcz and once again to Raczkowa pass and via Ornak to Koscieliska Valley . Nice trip !
Route Climbed: From Bystrá dolina Date Climbed: July, 2004
It was a sunny but not a warm day. I went with my father my brother and my cousin. It was an easy and beautiful route. Inspite of the cold we had a bath in Bystré pleso, it was extremely cold. After it we felt like flying...
