Good title.

Looks like a rather complicated face.

Re: Good title.

yes, but it hardy ever gets climbed under these conditions.
I'm sure it has been done in winter, but I didn't see anyone on it at the time.
Your Death Valley TR was great.

Re: As always

Thank you so much.
I feel lucky to have visited Zion a few days after a snowstorm.
There was also a cold snap that lasted a few days. All the trails and the roads were frozen, but it was the best time for taking photos.
Happy climbing,
Marc

Re: Yes!

Thank you Borut.
I think a little, or a lot of, snow and ice make all the difference. I feel lucky to have been there when the conditions were perfect.
Happy climbing,
Marc

Re: Yes!

LOL, take your pick. Just kidding.
You think too highly of me, friend. My wife and I did only two little hikes. Snow up to our knees in places.

Re: beautiful

Thank you Radek. You know how beautiful red color rocks can be in Zion. And when you throw a little white in there, the red jumps out even more. Same with green bushes and trees. On my previous visits to Zion, even though they were in winter, I had nothing but grey skies, leafless trees, or no camera in pocket. I think I made up for it all this time.

There's always a bunch

to be said in regards to the National Parks of the west, including Zion Canyon.

The last time my wife & I visited, (HER first
time in the Park), I was welcomed by the
entire chorus of "How Great Thou Art"
echoing through space and time from my
wife's lips.

She especially liked the "Weeping Wall."

Re: There's always a bunch

Yes, there is always "A bunch" that can be said about Zion.
I think Larry, you can be the poet to write that poem about Zion. I hope you will, so that the rest of us can enjoy reading it while enjoying the awesome beauties Zion has to offer.

Re: Great Picture Marc!

Thank you so much Eric. I was lucky to have so much snow on the ground at the time. The temps stayed below freezing and ice stayed plastered on the walls. All that and clear blue skies, what more could I ask for!
Thanks for the visit, Eric.

Re: Go Zion!

Thanks so much.
As I told Eric before, luck had a lot more to do with this capture than my vision for a great photo.
Thanks for dropping by, Rasgoat,
Marc
