Had no idea that there was climbable rock in Acadia!! There's even a guidebook??!!
A very educational and a good page. Thanks.
Thank you for your visit. I'll try to get more photos but lots of mine are slides. Chitlin corner was featured on an old IME mountain catalogue.
Thanks for the vote. I see you have lots of work on different pages-Devils lake and Red mountains are ones that I have visited so far. I'll be sure to check out the rest
This is one of those mountains where elevation means nothing compared to the overall quality of the mountain. Good page on a good mountain.
Thanks for looking it over. I too enjoyed your pictures from the Camels Hump.
I had heard of Cadillac Mountain from my brother. Good to see it on SP. Do you teach at Miami University? I used to live in Cincinnati.
Brought back good memories for me. Thanks.
Very good page I stumbled upon! But why not attach more of the pictures?
Thanks for your seaside visit and your good vote.
Might be a while. I have a fairly serious muscle/tendon injury in my left foot. One doctor tells me my summer hiking plans are shot. We'll see. I did manage to hobble up Backbone Rock and Grosses Mountain last week (against physician advice, of course), wearing a cumberson leg brace. However, have been taking it easy since.
Striking mountain... nice work.
Thanks for your good vote. I guess Cadillac is the Sleeping Giant of the Maine seaboard!
Thank you for your good vote. Enjoy your good action pix.
Remember hiking in Acadia in the mid-eighties... good to see this one.
