Cairns marking the way
Coming down on the Austrian side of the Hochjoch, there were lots of cairns. I suppose that they might be useful if the path was covered by snow, and those clouds in the distance would move up the valley. On the other hand, as long as you keep going down, it would be hard to get lost here, even if you don't follow the trail.
