I love the texture of the rock...almost like loaves of bread or dinner rolls in a pan...

in the heat of spring and summer lisae, we have learned to take breaks between crags and just stroll around...this was one of those breaks...amazing the interesting stuff we find that few know about...Zion has formations just like this that many stop to take photos of..and this one was in our back yard and I had no idea...cheers.

LOL!

If we want to climb at the Pinnacles when it is hot, we seek the shade and find all the nooks between formations to hide out in and cool off.
