Camp 1, 4200 m (13800 ft) on the normal route, before sunset (taken during a winter attempt in Sept. 2003), looking at the clouds rolling in - what will the night bring (it brought a storm)?

The is my fav. photo of yours. A real keeper! Yea,
purple clouds like that sometimes mean "lighting storm.

This is actually a scanned old slide, scanned on a cheap scanner. I will re-scan some of my slides the fancy, expensive way soon. SM
