camp for Mt. Snowdon

Ahh...the lush green alpine meadow of the San Juans...a thing of beauty. Access via Lake Andrews off of hwy 550. The Naked Lady couloir is the obvious one climber's left of the peak. An awesome climb. The approach took an hour from camp. The climb took two hours. The descent took 1.5 hours with a bit of rain and everyone's favorite, some heat sparks from the nearby lightning. I'd rather that be the last time heat sparks are a part of the day's climbing experience. Gotta watch out for the weather in the San Juan's...it come's on quick.
