Camping Near Tall Trees Grove

When we arrived at Redwood National Park, CA, all of the campsites in the national and state parks were full. No problem: Curtis and I are always prepared to camp in the back-country. We obtained a permit, then made the hike through the Tall Trees Grove to camp on a gravel bar on Redwood Creek, about 1/4 mile past the Tall Trees Grove. Imaged in July 2007.
