My son in law snapped this pic as we were heading up the Golden Throne trail. Life is good when you can be outdoors hiking in surroundings like Capitol Reef.

Dean, watch out !!!

Looks to be a "brown-colored snake" crawling
towards you in the right foreground!

Perhaps you should let it do its thing ???
