Castleton from the approach

Castleton tower is one of the most popular desert spires. It is 400 foot high pinnacle, which sits atop a 1,000 foot -high cone of banded cliffs and scree. The tower was first climbed by Layton Kor and Huntley Ingalls in 1961.
