Great Weather, 5 pitches, first real multi-pitch route with Josh Helling, guide from Yosemite Climbing school and Ian Fyfe. Highly recommend Josh as a guide.

Mountaineers Route  Sucess!

There is a trail built to the saddle now. That last 15 ft. will get your attention.

South Face  Sucess!

Climbed the short south wall at about midway between Eichorn Pinnacle and the main summit. It was just under three pitches of a mix of class 4 and up to about 5.5. Very enjoyable and recommended route.

nice little bit of climbing to top out on the summit block! AMAZING views of eichorn, the prize climb. Some crazy dirtbag dude topped out on the summit at the same time, he had free soloed the SE buttress.

great climb but crowded  Sucess!

started off on a bluebird day, by the second pitch crowds were gathering. by the third pitch clouds were gathering. when we made it to the summit blocks we could see rain in the distance and hear thunder so we beat it out of there. We made it back to the start in time for heavy hail and rain. There were still several (crazy) parties climbing in the rain and lightning.

SE buttress  Sucess!

Summitted with Jack - very enjoyable climb. Eichorn's Pinnacle was the highlight for me, by far! The views are fantastic and the climbing very clean. Three parties at 05:30 at the trailhead... And another one already on the route when we got there. Good thing for the early start too, because thunderstorms moved in unusually early. Easy descent back to the JMT from the pinnacle.

Just in time  Sucess!

Via the SE Butt. Ended P6 watching a thunderstorm roll in on us from the west. Pretty spectacular view, very sketchy belaying from the summit block and watching lightning in the distance.
