I must agree with Scott. I love cats and the photos are lovely. However, they have nothing to do with mountains. SummitPost is suppost to be about climbing (mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing, etc.) This album and the photos are pretty far off topic.
Please don't take my vote personally. Some of us are trying to keep SummitPost from straying too far from it's intended purpose - CLIMBING. There are many other websites where general photos can be posted.
Agreed with both Scott and Alpinist. The pictures are nice but they are not mountaineering, climbing or hiking. The pictures would be happier on a photography website.
Thank you Gracia :-)
I like both, I like all animals!
But now I have just my Bubi and he is also going with me to mountain-sometimes!
I am in Bosnia in Sarajevo now!
Best regards for you!

I'd like to make an album of pictures of west highland white terriers but that wouldn't have anything to do with climbing! :-)
Maybe take pictures of them climbing trees? ;-)
The low vote is not personal, I like most beleive that an album submitted on this site should relate to something with the outdoors. I say this from first hand experience. When SP Version 2 started up, I submitted a lighthouse album. It had nothing to do with the mountains and it was quickly buried by the rest of the members. It remained to see if the voting system really would work, which it did. I love to look at your other stuff. Some of it is absolutely amazing.
Don't be sorry!
This is your opinion and I will respect.
Thank you for comment
And thank you fore all your votes

Wild cats
I love cats. Thanks for this album. Although others make a point about these not being shots from the wild I think it is a statement on lifestyle as is mountaineering so I voted it a 10. I added a couple lions taken on safari after a Kilimanjaro climb. I'll look for a couple more wild cat shots in my collection. Cats seem to have similar manorisms and the small variety found in populated areas remind me a lot of the bigger species we see in the wild. Thanks Azra!
Thank you Sam!!

Cats are very smart animals. And they are part of nature. They deserve place on SP, I think.

Yeah, you're right. Perhaps I should censor myself because it offends you.
Gimme a break.

I would vote 10 if......these were cats out in the wilderness. Wild tigers, cougars, jaguars, bob cats, etc. All these cats seem like they are at people's houses or yards?

Good idea?I think that this album is a great idea! I understand that SummitPost is a mountaineering site, but a few off-topic photos don't hurt anyone!
