Rained Out, Brushed Back
Was pummeled by the brush, especially the scrub oak. Then I was poured on, which ended my summit hopes. But did not become soaked until I went back through the wet, impenetrable oak.

Little Gem
Big bang for your buck on this peak. Loved it. Less than 2 hours car to car. Easy but great views and scenery.

Wife's first off-trail route
Cave Knoll was the first time my wife followed an off-trail route to a summit. Despite some uneasiness in a couple of exposed spots, she had a great time and by the end of our April trip was asking if we could do more off-trail routes because trails had suddenly become a little boring.
