Morning rain, plenty of hikers. 2 hours C2C, good warm up and relaxing!
Nobody else on the butte!
before some mountain biking. Much less people than the ledge - must have been 400 cars parked for rattlesnake - no thanks.
Did this with my friend Aaron.
Nice leg stretcher on a less than perfect weather day. Nice view up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie from the summit.
Did this because there was too many people at Rattlesnake...
OK for winter or family
Hiked with my grandma and her husband, good early-season hike which includes some views across the valley
Not a bad short after work hike. From Rattlesnake Lake area it's only 5 miles. Under an hour to the top.
It rainy up in the higher mountains so we choose this mountain.
Cold and wet solo.
all by myself
Some views towards North Bend/Si and not a lot of effort/time to get up.
with my sister and kids
After having a couple bouts of the runs I survived and made it to the top with my husband EastKing.
I really needed to take my dog for a walk, and it was a nice enough day for a short woodland jaunt. Great view from the summit. We encountered some of the largest frogs/toads I had ever seen on this side of the state, during the descent.
I can't say that this is one of my favorites. But it's a good close in year-round exercise hike. Extra mileage can be added by walking farther on the railroad path. Or by combining with Rattlesnake.
