Great little stroll close to town  Sucess!

I think this one's a mile round trip. It's a great little spot to get out and stretch your legs when you've been sitting in front of a screen for too long.

Cedar Mountain  Sucess!

This one made a nice before-work stroll - I'll have to come back with my bike someday and check out the rest of the trails.

First "climb" of 2014  Sucess!

It had eight months since my last hike! This thirty minute hike was a good wake up.

Nice and easy, but...  Sucess!

... don't bother wasting your time with this peak on a "good weather" day. Due to its low elevation and close proximity to urban areas, Cedar Mountain can be summited any time of the year. This is a good choice for a "poor weather" day, especially considering that the thick forest canopy helps prevent direct drizzle down low on the trails. Another Quad bites the dust.

A local "mountain"

A local "mountain" so to speak. I did this from my house and made about a 12 mile loop out of it including some on the Lake Youngs trail and some street/sidewalk walking.

Easy hike  Sucess!

I had to think about this one a lot before putting it up on SP. It is a great rehab hike and newbie hike.
