Bob it looks as if you have visited all the Black Mtns. Looks pretty cool and the whole ridge traverse would be fun. Glad I didn't pronounce as one might a Bach Cello Suite!
Actually, I need two more peaks to complete the Blacks.
I'll get them next time.
Plus, I want to do some of the sub-sixer Black peaks, a few of which are truly spectacular.
In addition, I am convinced from my hike on Sunday, that there are two unnamed Sixer peaks along the Crest Trail. They certainly meet the criteria for being named peaks. Deep gaps and required distance. I took GPS readings and will compare them to topo maps online.
The page is great now! I know it is going to be even better later.
I'm still adding some stuff. I think it will take me a little longer to complete it.
Nice page, but perhaps loose the pic of the GPS marker.
3000 vertical feet huh? You should try the Northern Presidentials sometime.
Bob, did not know the Black Mts. was the highest range in the east....cheers!
Good writeup. I'm with Scott, though, who doesn't like photos of survey markers.
