Dammed Century Lake in Malibu Creek State Park. There is a little picnic area on the lake shore. The lake is popular for fishing. Photo taken in 2000.

Why is it

Century Lake? Has it been here for
one hundred years, perhaps? That
would be 1908. Hey, that's when
Teddy Roosevelt was president, and
he dedicated several reservoirs in
the West. Nice photograph, Guido!!

Thanks Larry. I think the dam was built at the last century mark (~1900) which gave the newly formed lake its name. Cheers.
