This is a pretty good page, but it could use some more information on the Getting There section or a route page. For example, maybe have detailed direction on getting to the start of the trail from Gracias and more information on the route itself.
A convenient cabin is located near the entrance to the park with all the basic amenities (bring food, bedding, etc) and there is another one half way up the mountain but don't plan on staying there as it is very basic with sheet metal and little else.
The hostel at the entrance of the park is no longer in service. You can still camp there though.
The cabin higher on the mountain mentioned on the page is basicially gone. The roof is completely caved in so it offers no shelter at all. There was a new very basic shelter higher up in the cloud forest, but always take a tent anyway.
