By moonlightHiked up here by the light of the December full moon, amazingly beautiful with fresh snow all over the Rio Puerco Valley. I was hoping to photograph the lunar eclipse next to Cerro Cuate, but realized on top that the shot wouldn't work, so I went somewhere else instead. But the moonlight hike was a real treat, and I'll have to come back. Chato is a great cheap thrill!

Cerro ChatoShort hike to the top of Cerro Chato after climbing Cabezon Peak, Cerro de Guadalupe and Cerro de Santa Clara. Nice views from the summit plateau.

Nice ViewsGreat views and nice day. Also did Cerro Cuate and Cerro de Santa Clara this day. Found the summit register but was unable to get the lid off.
