Great Shot

Good one as usual Bob! This is one of my favorite mountains outside of Montana.

Re: Great Shot

Thanks you. It was a great trip to Zion and Death Valley-- perfect weather and great hiking and climbing. The east side of Zion is a lot of fun and much more enjoyable than being in Zion Canyon, in my opinion; it's so much quieter and more open, and I love the texture of the rocks.

Wow...

Mountain rocks like a crocodile skin...

Re: Wow...

Thanks. Imagine that-- sandstone-skin boots. Talk about tough! And at least some poor animal wouldn't have to die for them.

Bob ...

Glad to hear you made it back and intact!
Did you actually meet Tanya & Bo? Cool! I've
been racked with family problems, impending divorces, mishaps, fender-benders, cattle rustlers, bandits, liars, and the SOLITUDE of the Mojave Desert. Hey, 1 out of 8 ain't bad!!! LOVE your photos, Bob! - LARRY

Re: Bravo!

It really does, doesn't it? Those lines seem to draw you right up. Too bad it's really too steep fpr a quick dash up the slopes!

Thanks, Borut!
