From Imogene  Sucess!

Drove the entirety of Imogene Pass. Parked at the pass and did Chicago & Tomboy. Smokey, hazy weather from the fire in California.
Wanted to do T 7, but had to get back to Ouray to make a deadline.
Super janky, loose ridge. But hard, just loose.

With Tomboy  Sucess!

Climbed with Tomboy from Imogene Pass with Steve Knapp, we tried to explore combining with T5 but that was a futile effort. The ridge is a chossy sawblade, we thought maybe we could contour below but after dropping 200+ feet of scree gully we just didn't see any reasonable route. Instead we went back to the pass and did T7 and T8.

With T7 & Tomboy Peak  Sucess!

Climbed the trio from Imogene Pass. Drove up the evening before and got sick overnight (food poisoning?) but managed to complete the hike. Didn't want to have to drive my 4runner up to the pass again; it was tricky.

above the clouds  Sucess!

The forecast was dim, rain and clouds all day long, so I wanted a peak which surroundings I knew well. Chicago was a great choice. I hiked up Imogene from Camp Bird, the ridge to Chicago Peak's summit, continued onto Point 13,242 = Little Chicago, descended onto Little Chicago - United States Mountain saddle. Spend about 1 hr figuring out the route on United States and finished the day with a thick rain. United States Mountain took a lot of work for an unranked 13er.
