West view out over the desert with the Growler Mountains in the distance. The low pass is called Charley Bell Pass, and the mountains that you see way way beyond are the Granite Mountains. You can drive to Charley Bell Pass, but if you want to explore the Granite Range, you must walk another dozen miles.
