Thanks Nelson. I am glad much of that you know and enjoy the Pyrenees thanks to me. For us they are an important part of our life since we live at less than 2 hours of car of this great mountainous chain and it makes me very happy to give them to know to the whole world. Do not forget that they are any more than 400 kilometres from width (I don't know in miles) and there are many valleys and mountains. To know a bit more of the Pyrenees you can visit my page of Posets with a detailed description of the range.

The middle peak in a line of five. Lowest of them is Chipeta Baritone, then there's Chipeta Tenor, then Chipeta Alto. Higher than Chipeta Alto is Chipeta Soprano. Finally, highest of all is Chipeta Piccolo.

Okay, maybe not...but there ought to be.

Yes, there are had desires to sing in the top for the nice of the landscape (better that I don't sing). Really the names of these mounts are in the habit of owing in spanish to whom there is a lower secondary top. Because of it a mount Chipeta Bajo (low) and a mount Chipeta Alto (high) exists. It's better the high of course.

thanks, many books of mountains of Pyrenees say what this mountain is like a long ship with the prow on the forests prepared to start sailing.

Hey Rafa, nice work once again! I'm very jealous of you living so close to the mountains and shooting such great photos all year long, but you probably already knew that ;-)

Cheers,

Rick

thank you very much Rick. Yes, I'm very lucky for the Pyrenees (I hope tomorrow sunday an other climb in Pyrenees, I don't know the mountain ). Actually the Pyrenees are a little dangerous because this year still remains a lot of snow in may and with the sun there are risks of avalanches so not everything is so nice as seems in the pages and pictures.

thanks,

What can you expect from a Pyrenees lover like me, and one that made his first arms in Chipeta and its neighbouring valleys? Had to be a four-star. Can't be anything else

gracias, es una montaña modesta pero muy bonita que creo merecía su página. Y además está donde está, en medio de una maravilla de montañas que la rodean.
