Guided TourDean provided a guided tour of Chokecherry. He even provided transportation to the trailhead. Dean is a nice guy and he will give these tours to any of his peaks.

2nd visitBad weather up in the Winnemucca forced us south so Dennis Poulin and I did this one as a warm up for our week together. The register showed that only one other person had visited this lonely mountain since Ken Jones and I had visited it in May 2010.

cross countryActually, the mountain was the first of 7 that we did on a long Memorial day weekend and we chose it only because the weather in NE Nevada was not very amenable to our original plans. In fact, not one of the 7 peaks we did were on our original agenda.
