Also a lucky shot. I have an almost identical shot taken a few minutes earlier that doesn't have the lenticular clouds.

Great view.

Since the advent of digital photography fortunate shots like this one is easier than it used to be with film photography. One can waste many shots to get one good one.

For this shot it really was not a matter of wasting a bunch of shots to get one good one; it was a matter of being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time - clouds like that don't hang around too long. If I had been carrying a film camera instead, I would have still gotten the shot.
