My wife Penelope and I drove to Chuckwalla Mountain TH via the Graham Pass road off Freeway 10. We drove this road twice or three times in the past three or four years and found it a good dirt road with few (if any) washouts. I would hesitate to drive a passenger car there, but any higher clearance vehicle will be ok. We drove it in Subaru Outback, Toyota Rav4 and (last time in 2017) with our 4x4 truck.
