Your Mt Cavallo post brought back memories from my time in Aviano 67-70 When I climbed Cavallo and all its other nearby peaks maybe 30 times. I went back there in April about 10 years ago was surprised to see a ski lift to top of Mt Tremol where many years ago took crampons to do winter climb. I did do ski tour in basin to saddle at end with thoughts of climbing Cavallo again but realized it was harder that time of year than I thought. Thanks for reviving old memories. Maybe I will get back there again while I can still climb it.
