US 1 Vincent Flat Trailhead. This is a great spring treck when the higher mountains are full of snow. Trail goes through a several different types of terrain. Steep meadows, Giant Redwood groves, regenerating lands from forest fires, and higher arid slopes. The trail is in good shape with a rainbow of wildflowers in Spring. A view of the Pacific is almost always in sight. Camp at Vincent Flat Camp in the middle of a grove of Giants. The Hike from camp to Summit is about 3500' and 6 miles. Outstanding views of the surrounding mountains and the Pacific. A great two day trip.
