Cirque de Navacelles
The view into the famous Cirque de Navacelles is one of the most beautiful scenes in France.
Vis river is meandring wildly in its upper part. One of the meanders was left by the river stream and there people settled. High in the mountains, for centuries remote and cut off from the rest of the world. But the hamlet survived and today tourists are coming massively to admire the scene.
