I think this page is just awesome. The info and photos alone make it a very good page, but your writing, which conveys your deep love for the area, makes it a great page. Your thoughts on wilderness seem to mirror my own in many ways, and I just thank you for making this page. My only complaint is that it is now complicating my plans for next summer; I had planned on doing some climbing in some remote areas around Yellowstone, but now I am burning to get out to Clark and Capitol, and I won't have time to do them all!
Wow this peak is a classic. Me and a buddy of mine hitch hiked from Boulder to the trailhead and packed into Pierre Lakes. Such a gorgeous basin, especially for two whilly 17 year olds. The thing about Clark is the rock is so perfect for scrambling. We just had a hoot tooling around on the rock. We had perfect weather and a glorious time. That bushwacken to the lakes was precious. Wooo Hoooo

PhotoNice mountain.
Anyway, if you are interested in attaching another photo of Clark Peak from another angle, see the one below that Mark Thomas took:
Clark Peak
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera on that trip.

Looks like tons of fun on that ridgeThanks for posting this page, Kane!
A couple of typos for you:
"Before you stretch’s the largest of four crystal clear lakes." --> missing words?
"... single-track trail will fade fast. Leaving you with a dreadful, navigational undertaking." --> "...fade fast, leaving you with..."
