What's wrong

with going up the talus gully to the far left?
I would rather be fishing - at that pretty
blue lake surrounded by trees in the background.

There is a big cleft between where I took this pic and that talus gully so you can't get access to it. At first glance it looks feasible until you get over to the edge and see what you are dealing with. I am not much of a rock climber but that stuff would all be loose if you could access it.

Groan... If that's Class III, both my wife and
I are ready to retire and go on a non-stop
fishing trip. Awesome photo, however! :)

Oh, that must be Winnemucca Lake! Must be some awesome Golden trout in there; and I'm sure a large cloud of mosquitoes. Nice!!

Nope, not Winnemucca lake. It is to the left of this pic. I'll post one of the lake a bit later. Thanks for your comments as always.

dont be fooled

If you search around there is a easy way to the top. Easy class three.
