Classic Fall Moment in the North Cascades

As we were dashing back to our camp, looking to the East we could see Silver Star all lit up with the golden larches. The mountain setting was perfect, all around we were surrounded by glowing mountains. In a land far from any city or any people, taken on the way back from Golden Horn on October 2, 2010.

Thanks Gimpilator, it was an amazing place to be during this hour. The whole day I had been hiking through mountains of Golden Larches.

Awesome picture Josh, those mtns around WA Pass are some of my favorite, I've been visiting them since I was born! (literally)

Lucky you, I didn't get to finally go to Washington Pass until I was 14 years old which was back in 2007. But I gotta agree with you, some pretty amazing stuff in the area.
