As someone who's been at the bottom of this area looking up, then later looking down from a Cessna.. this is fantastic.

It was a memorable day for sure. Hard to believe that almost all of that ridge to the summit is class 3, maybe class 3+. Solid rock and great holds the entire way. The only class 4 I encountered was on the short traverse out of the upper bowl and onto the ridgeline. And it was only one difficult move with almost zero exposure. The entire route is very doable without a rope or climbing shoes, going up or coming down. Just keep 3 points of contact and everything's good.

Good to know! That's the uppermost limit of my ability - would be a thrill to get there one of these days. Humphreys Basin is a fantastic area.
