South side of the cliffs on the east side of North Yard Peak. It is interesting to zoom in on the precariously positioned sunlit rock on the diving board just left of middle at the skyline. This picture was taken 3 years ago. Anyone want to bet on whether it is still there? August-26-2008

I'm willing to bet that it's still there.

There were no major earthquakes reported
during the past three years, and I'm
speculating that it would take a massive
earthquake to send that thing into oblivion.

When the "super-volcano" blows in Yellowstone, that's when the diving board
will (probably) buy the farm.
