Climbers tackling a route on Elephant Rock, south end of the formation. This area was amazing when seen for the first time. 6-26-04

Re: Elephant Rock.

It may be. I may have the names out of sequence. I'll double check but I think you may be right and if so, thanks for the heads up.

For future observers of this page, I had it labled Bath Rock.

Re: Elephant Rock.

Great shot Dean! I like the fact that you managed to include the climbers to really show the scale of this (cool) formation. I think this is Elephant Rock. Not sure what route the climbers in the shot are doing but Rye Crisp (5.8) goes up the flakes in the center and small section of Wheat Thin (5.7) route is visible on the right.

Ahhhhh, miss summer!!!

Re: Elephant Rock.

Miss summer. That is so true. It'll be here soon enough. In the meantime, keep active and start doing county highpointing, that'll fill the void a bit. : )

Thanks for your comments too.

Just Say No

Just Say No 5.9 with a run-out start. Beautiful friction.
