When was this?Can you give me details about this route? That is exactly the kind of climb I want to do: alpine ice in narrow granitic gullies!

Re: When was this?The Migotspur is not a typical gully. It is more a ridge/face route. This picture is the only exception on the route. Although I can highly recommend the route! The picture was made at the end of august 2007.
The Mont Blanc area is the perfect place to find alpine ice in narrow granite. Ther're several routes on the MB du Tacul, Argentière bassin and many more places. Numerous route are collected in this perfect guidebook: "Snow, ice and mixed. The guide to the Mont-Blanc Range.", Volume 1&2, François Damilano.
