Clouds overhead on the Draper Ridge.

Clouds overhead on the Draper Ridge.

Once reaching about 9,000 on the Draper Ridge from the Cherry Canyon Logging trail approach, the clouds inundated everything above that altitude. Enniss Peak, above about 300 vertical feet from this photo, was cloud covered. Once I reached the top visibility was about 150 feet. Also the wind! Egads... There was a steady 30+ miles an hour for much of the route up. Once getting into the cloud cover with the wind it was cold! Even with me being fat it was cold. Once dropping a couple thousand vertical feet on the way down it warmed up substantially. 1-26-2012.
