South Slope from Tenaya
Hiked up from Tenaya, then along the snow covered south slope to reach the summit via the West ridge.

Family hike
Start of the hiking season for me. From Tenaya lake with son Stephen, brother Jon, nephew Rand. Fabulous view. 14-year-old son said, "Why did we have to work so hard? We could have just looked at this in Google Earth". This after I had to stop him and his cousin from throwing rocks over the side...

Dayhike from Happy Isles
Did as warm-up for Mt Clark. Car to car 6.5 hours. What a relief to get off that Half Dome trail!

Warm Sept DayFrom Sunrise with Half Dome the next day. The views are as good as reported. I quite enjoyed walking along the ridge.

Great viewsDid the hike from Tanaya Lake - not as tough as I had expected. Once you get past the first ridge it is actually fairly easy.

Greatfirst experience in yosemite, did a loop through LYV to cloudsrest and back. Few crowds in a fairly snowfree December...Really nice
