I remember

how steep that was yet sometimes pics don't convey that steepness. I do remember being thankful that my partner nailed the routefinding. It felt good to come out just a hundred yards from the summit.

That was a great day wasn't it? What I remember was not wearing a hat and losing the top layer of skin a couple days later from sunburn...

That is a pretty intense sun out there on those desert peaks, hats are really helpful.

Talus

Lots of little rocks there. Was it loose stuff?

I wouldn't say it was very loose, However it was kind of technical trying to weave our way up through chutes and cliffs. If you look real close in the picture way down the canyon you can see a small sardine can that was left there on the ridge. lol Actually Dave it was a great hike.
