Re: QuestionsWell, she doesn't need as many essentials as we do. She does have 38 HPS peaks to her credit including Baldy Village 6X, Iron #1 4x, and Strawberry Peak (cl3 route) 2x. I also measure how hard a summit block is by her prowess -- Mt Jenkins class 3? hardly!

Just figured it out!Never leave your mountain widow (wife) with access to your summit post account!
Update: my wife is denying having anything to do with it and since I was at work in a meeting for the indicated time stamp, I'm starting to get a bit suspicious.

Goodbye to a friendCoco was an incredible hiking dog who was my partner on many HPS peaks. Her final big hike was 5 years ago at the age of 12 with Bob Burd and Mathhew Holliman on Thorn Lookout. She lived five more years but stopped hiking all together at age 16. She was healthy to the end -- loss of mobility her downfall. But pretty good for a 17 year old dog.
